Jackson Hospital, in partnership with the American Cancer Society, is offering a free skin cancer screening, just in time for summer! Drs. Robert Avery, Thomas Beatrous and Khalid Matine of the Cancer Care Center of Montgomery will perform the screening, which will take place Wednesday, June 9, from 3-6pm on the 3rd floor of the Park Place building, 1758 Park Place.
Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States, with more than 3.5 million new cases diagnosed annually. Each year, there are more new cases of skin cancer than the combined incidence of cancers of the breast, prostate, lung and colon, with one in five Americans developing skin cancer in the course of a lifetime.
Early detection of skin cancer is critical. Don't miss this important event. Spaces are limited so call 334-261-3148 to register today!
