Jackson Hospital recently celebrated National Volunteers Week with a special luncheon at the Montgomery Country Club to honor all of the wonderful hospital volunteers. Awards were given to volunteers in various areas, including number of years served, one-year and five-year, as well as the coveted Volunteer of the Year award. Volunteering at Jackson Hospital is a rewarding experience. Volunteers must be at least 19-years old and are asked to work 4 hours a week. They must complete an application and pass a background check.
