Jackson Hospital 'Adopts' DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa

Hospital news | Monday, May 2, 2011

Jackson Hospital will be collecting needed items for healthcare workers and emergency personnel at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Many of these employees lost their homes and possessions and are in need of basic supplies. With Jackson Hospital’s help, DCH will set up a “free store” in their facility where employees and other first responders (policemen, firefighters, emergency personnel and sheriff’s deputies) can select needed items.

You can reach out directly to these tornado victims by purchasing some of the following items:
T-shirts (all sizes, but particularly XL, 2X, 3X)
Solid color scrub tops and bottoms in any size
Underwear (multi-pack, men’s & women’s sizes)
Socks (men’s & women’s)
flip flops

Razors and shaving cream
Toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss
Deodorant
Shampoo/Conditioner
Bar or liquid soap
Bags for these products
Lotion
Feminine hygiene products
Contact lens solution
Baby wipes
Bottled water
Ponytail holders

Items will be collected in Main Lobby of Jackson Hospital. Thank you so much for helping fill these basic needs. Call 293-6940 or 293-8977 for additional information.
