"Feed the Fight" Against Cancer

Hospital news | Thursday, April 17, 2008

Jackson Hospital and Panera Bread Join Forces to Fight Cancer

Next Thursday, April 24, you won’t want to miss Feed the Fight night at Panera Bread at Eastchase. When you place an order between 5 and 8pm, 10% of the money you spend will go to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Montgomery, on behalf of the Jackson Hospital team. The American Cancer Society will be on site to answer questions about Relay For Life and where the money goes, as well as hand out resources on cancer. It will be a family friendly night with activities and goodies for the kids, so bring the whole family. This is a great way to support the fight against cancer!

Relay For Life of Montgomery

DATE: May 2&3

TIME: 6pm-6am

LOCATION: Auburn Montgomery Campus

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life event celebrates cancer survivorship while simultaneously raising money to help the American Cancer Society in its mission to save lives, help those who have been touched by cancer, and empower individuals to fight back. It is a fun-filled overnight event where teams will take turns walking or running laps keeping at least one team member on the track at all times. By joining together as volunteers and donors, our efforts help the American Cancer Society strive toward a future where cancer doesn't take the lives of our friends and family.

If you are interested in learning more about this fundraising event, please call Peter Frohmader at 334-293-8981 to schedule an interview.
