Torie was born on October 10, 2015 at Jackson Hospital with a heart murmur and kidney disease. Torie's mother, Roxanne, credits Jackson Hospital nurses and doctors for their quick response when Torie stopped breathing for a few minutes after birth. With interventional care at Jackson Hospital, Torie is now a healthy and thriving 5-year-old little girl with a ton of energy and spunk! Her favorite activity is cheerleading, and her spirit shines bright everywhere she goes.
