Mom & Baby Center makes changes to serve you better

The expanded nursery gives mothers more options.

Donations from our generous community have once again had a great effect on the newest residents in Montgomery. Jackson Hospital’s Mom & Baby Center has recently expanded its infant nursery, thanks to funds raised by the Jackson Hospital Foundation.

The expanded nursery has an increased capacity to accommodate more babies as our delivery services grow. It also allows mothers the option of having their babies stay in the nursery if they so desire.

“We encourage moms to keep their baby [in their hospital room] during the night to jump-start their bonding, but we are happy to do as the mother wishes,” said Anna Fulmer, RNC, director of the Mom & Baby Center. “We will accommodate each patient to make sure that Mom has her baby with her as much as she desires.”
