Jackson Hospital volunteers can be helpful to you and your guests in many ways. They join us in the belief that the health and welfare of the community is our concern. Our volunteers work throughout the hospital, The Jackson Imaging Center, The Jackson Surgery Center and the Emergency Department assisting patients and visitors. You can identify them by their blue volunteer smocks or blue volunteer blazers.
Volunteering at Jackson Hospital is a rewarding experience. Volunteers must be at least 19 years old and are asked to work 4 hours a week. They must complete an application and pass a background check and health screening.
Turn spare time into care time! Interested in becoming a junior volunteer? If you are over the age of 14, please contact our volunteer services director for more information and to pick up a junior volunteer application!
