Heartsaver CPR AED
The Heartsaver CPR AED class is designed to prepare students with little or no medical training to provide CPR and use the automated external defibrillator in a safe, timely effective manner on adults, children and infants. Also, instructs when and how to help a choking victim, adult or child.
For Jackson Hospital Employees ONLY: The course is free, if you attend or cancel your registration according to attendance guidelines. The Heartsaver Manual is available for purchase ($5) or loan (deposit $5) in advance in the Education Department.
For Non-Jackson Staff: - The cost of the course is $30 paid by CASH OR CHECK at the beginning of the class. This includes the required AHA book.
