This a progressive class (renewal and provider). This course is designed to give students the opportunity to practice and demonstrate proficiency in skills used in resuscitation including airway adjuncts, performing high quality CPR, using an AED, and a monitor/defibrillator. Students will practice the application of these skills in simulated cases in both team leader and team member roles.

For Jackson Hospital Employees: The course is free, if you attend or cancel your registration according to the attendance guidelines. All staff members must now register for the course in E-learning.

For Non-Jackson Hospital Employees: - The cost of the original provider course is $150 paid by CASH OR CHECK at the time of the class. For ACLS recertification, the cost of the course is $100. The cost of the ACLS provider manual is $41. Requirements to participate in ACLS:

1.Complete the PRE-COURSE assessment with a passing score of 70% before attending the course.

2.Bring a copy of the pre-course assessment certificate to class. Proof of completion will be required to be allowed in the class.
