Jackson provides many programs and services specific to women and children.
New mothers and babies are extra special at Jackson Hospital, where family-centered care is the cornerstone of 
obstetrics. Our Mom & Baby Center was recently remodeled and now houses the only all-private, as well as the largest, post-partum rooms available in Montgomery. This unit is complemented by a large Level Two nursery equipped with some of the latest technology to enable us to care for both well and sick newborns. A series of educational sessions on the birthing experience, prenatal care, sibling and grandparent relationships, breastfeeding, and Lamaze are available to all mothers planning to deliver at Jackson.
For our young patients, the hospital stay doesn't have to be a strange and frightening experience. With the help of our specially trained nursing staff, our young patients can feel a little more comfortable about their stay away from home. Because we want your child to be more at ease, we ask that an adult stay at all times in the room with infants and children up to six years old. We allow one adult to spend the night with a child of any age.
