Jackson Surgery Center
Jackson Hospital is patiently anticipating the opening of a new surgery center on campus by the end of this year. The new center will feature six operating rooms and four endoscopy suites. It will be used primarily for outpatient bronchoscopies, endoscopies and colonoscopies in the endo suites. The operation room will feature ENT, plastic, orthopedic, urologic and general surgery. All surgeries will be elective out patient surgery.
The addition of this new facility will allow the main OR in the hospital to be used primarily for patients who are having more complex surgeries. We are excited about this expansion and the ability to increase our capacity to provide surgical services to the community. We will provide additional information upon its opening.
