Jackson Hospital Foundation
For more than three decades the Jackson Hospital Foundation has channeled support from River Region residents, businesses and industries to expand medical services and facilities on the hospital campus.
Donors invest in the community’s health by helping to provide emerging technology for the hospital’s physicians and caregivers. Recent gifts have supported a second cardiac catheterization lab, as well as state-of-the-art 3-D imaging software that offers sophisticated cardiac screening and diagnosis without an invasive procedure.
The not-for-profit foundation has targeted several areas for expansion based on a growing demand for patient services. Tax-deductible gifts may target specific centers of excellence, such as Cardiovascular Services at the Jackson Hospital Heart Center, Pediatric or Oncology Services.
The Touchstone Society annual giving program offers several levels of membership and provides the foundation with ongoing support each year. In addition to helping the hospital enhance services in many areas, donors receive special benefits through their participation.
Five levels of membership are offered:
Heritage: $3,000 and above
Benefactor: $1,000 to $2,999
Patron: $500 to $999
Associate: $250 to $499
Friend: $100 to $249.
Proceeds from Jackson Hospital Flowers and Gifts, located in the main lobby, also benefit the foundation. Other fundraising efforts include the second annual Swinging Fore Healthcare golf tournament September 14 at Arrowhead Country Club and Lights of Love holiday tree lighting ceremony in early December.
